UPDATE: After about a year of owning it, the remote receiver that gets stash in the base could not stay quiet. I tried so (so so so) many ways but no matter what I did, after a few days it would start tapping at the edges. Combined that with the fan suddenly wobbling a lot more - I ended up replacing it.While the fan looked good, I have found better options out there. The replacement I went with (also purchased on Amazon) was easier to install and is very quiet even at higher speeds.I would not recommend this fan.----/-----Replaced an existing ceiling fan making the install of this one easy. I like the utilitarian look and it’s minimalist trend. The fan delivers the expected amount of air. When it comes to noise, I’m a bit disappointed. At low and low~mid (an actual speed option on the remote), the fan is quiet. From medium to higher, the sound it generates is louder than I’d expect, and is intimidating enough that one my dogs moved from under the fan to a corner of the bed when it realized where the noise was coming from.
